I really love going back to the past and think about the kind of stationery that we used to use at school. I still remember my first day at my new school, mother dearest had forgotten to get me a school bag, but back at that time we used to refer it as a suitcase. A vintage brown box, with lock latches on each side, and a little handle in the centre.
Another new girl offered to let me store all my books in her suitcase, and as we huddled out, all our classmates had left to the pick up area, leaving us, two new girls, lost in their new school. As we tried finding our way out of the maze, we carried the suitcase one on each side as if it were a sack of potatoes. I’ll never forget that suitcase, that friend, and how heavy it was for two little girls.
PRESENT / & / CORRECT offers a range of those memories. and there is absolutely nothing on that site that I don’t love!
